Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, but the holiday weekend was very busy. My neice Tracy and her boyfriend Bill flew down here to South Carolina from Buffalo for a the weekend.
We spent the day Friday at the Iris Festival at Swan Lake Gardens here in town. This is a three day festival that includes crafts of all kinds, games for the kids, entertainment, and a parade celebrating Memorial Day.
The many varieties of irises, gardenias and day lilies which were blooming around the lake and the gardens making the scenery just breathtaking.
The weather was just beautiful and the flowers and swans were gorgeous.
On Friday we took a trip to Charleston and visited the Market looking, buying and admiring the wonderfully made crafts and baskets. We had lunch and then walked around harbor down by the battery looking out at Fort Sumter.
We toured Rainbow Row and as we walked down Market Street, I gave them a little history of the city and the beautiful homes we passed. The weather was just gorgeous and the breeze coming off the ocean made it just perfect.
They left on Sunday morning to spend the day at Myrtle Beach before flying back to Buffalo on Monday. It sure was good to see and spend time with Tracy and Bill and were sorry to see them leave. But hopefully, they'll be back to visit soon.
In the meantime, I have another tutorial I'd like to share with you. I received a request for a more detailed explanation and information on the Object Settings Box in My Digital Studio. This tutorial explains and illustrates a little more about the concept of the Object Settings Box without getting too technical and loaded down with computer jargon. I tried to keep it simple, easy to understand and follow for the novice user.
I hope it will help others who would like to know a little bit more about the Object Settings Box in MDS. You can access the tutorial here.
As soon as I finish another tutorial on printing cards in MDS, I'll get that posted as well. If you have any questions or suggestions for other written tutorials, please drop me line or leave me a comment. I welcome any and all suggestions and comments.
