Quick & Easy Deck the Halls Christmas Cards

Hello everyone!  Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been trying to come up with some easy Christmas cards and card kits.

Today I have some real easy cards to show you featuring the new Deck the Halls designer series paper available in the Holiday mini catalog.

I wanted to keep these cards as simple and easy as possible so I let the designer paper do most of the work.

All I did is add a greeting and some glitter and Voila, a real simple and easy card.

Supplies:

Stamps: Peaceful Season, Bells and Boughs, Tags til Christmas

Ink: Versamark, Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Brushed Gold, Alway Artichoke, scraps of mirror gold cardstock left over from a previous project.  (I got the mirror gold cardstock from Walmart but I think it's been discontinued)

Accessories:  2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Red and Gold Galaxy glitter, Clear Embossing Powder, Scallop Trim Border punch, Ornament extra-large punch, Decorative Label punch, Very vanilla taffeta ribbon.

Let me know what you think.  I would love to hear from you.

White and Gold Sympathy

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day weekend.  Time is passing by too quickly and before we know it, the holdiays will be upon us.  There is no rest for the weary.

Today, I have a sympathy card to share with you.  This card was cased from here.  My hairdresser's mother past away last week and I wanted to make her a very special card.  The size of this card is 5 x 7 which I do not usually make.

All supplies are Stampin Up unless otherwise noted.  I used Whisper White for the base and Brushed Gold for the first layer.

The next layer is also Whisper White embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  The die cut cross, circle, corner embellishments and the tag with the greeting is cut with a non Stampin Up die.

The top cross embossing is inked with Encore Gold ink and matted with Gold mirror cardstock.  I used the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder for the white mat under the cross and matted that with Brushed Gold cardstock.

The greeting is stamped with the retired set Close as a Memory in Basic Black.  The gold pearls are from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed todays project and would love to hear from you if you do.

Supplies:

Stamps: Close as a Memory (retired)

Ink: Basic Black

Cardstock: Whisper white, Brushed Gold, Gold Mirror from stash

Accessories: Non-stampin up dies, Vintage Wallpaper and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Gold pearls from stash.
